This website exists because great youth ministry is available to military students. If your installation is looking for a youth worker we want to help by providing staff through MCYM. If you want to move a little slower and are more inclined towards a volunteer effort we want to help you with the questions and training you need. There are plenty of resources in the downloads and if you want to talk with someone we're standing by to help.

The Youth for Christ commitment is the best solution for youth ministry on your installation. We know that the solution that will work for you is the one you are willing to create. YFCMYM exists to provide resources and tools to help commanders, chaplains, parents, volunteers and local YFC ministry centers connect on behalf of reaching military teens with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

YFCMYM is led by Bill Springston. Bill served for sixteen years in the Marine Corps and retired as an Army Chaplain. Bill served as the community youth director for ten years at Fort Leavenworth KS. and two years at the Marines Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) 29 Palms CA. During this period he served in MCYM, Military Communities Youth Ministry, also known as Club Beyond. Following his service as a community director he served four years as the MCYM United States regional director supporting MCYM community directors providing youth ministry on military installations through out the country.

Military Community Youth Ministries (MCYM) is a not for profit military youth serving organization that began in 1980. MCYM was begun by chaplains and military parents who wanted youth ministry for their students in Europe. In the late 1980's MCYM began ministry in the US. They are now located in over 40 installations world wide!

MCYM has several strategic partnerships and affiliations, to include Youth For Christ, Young Life and the National Federation of Catholic Youth Workers. They continue today as the finest youth organization bringing contracted youth ministry to military installations.

They operate by providing youth workers to military installations. These staff are resourced from a combination of funding from a contract and raising personal support through their parent organization as faith missionaries.
